Community Involvement

Hatfield Volkswagen Community Involvement

We at Hatfield Volkswagen are committed to giving back to the community that has been so supportive of our dealership. That’s our way of giving back and saying thank-you to all our neighbors.

Clothing Drive

Join us this month for as we collect clothing donations for men, women, and children in the Columbus area. We will be donating the clothes to a local church to hand out. As we prepare for the temperatures to drop, we want to be sure the members of our community have clothes to keep them warm. The items that we’ll need the most are sweaters, pants, sweatshirts, and jackets. The last day for drop off is October 31,2018.

Reach Out and Read Program

Recently, we participated in the “Reach Out and Read” program at National Children’s Hospital. We donated 448 books collected from dealership visitors and distributed to children patients at the hospital. Some of the books are retained at the hospital to be read aloud to patients by volunteers. We think the Reach and Read program is a great way to encourage reading among youngsters, some of whom don’t have many books at home.

Military Members & First Responders

Our community involvement also extends to military members and first responders. We salute these brave individuals with a special $500 discount on the advertised price of all new vehicles, in addition to any other rebates and incentives. The deal extends to active duty members, retirees and veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard and Active Reserves. First responders include Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff’s Deputies, Correctional Officers, State Troopers, Federal Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and EMT Paramedics.

We welcome your suggestions for our participation in other worthy causes and events that improve our community. Hatfield Volkswagen believes a stronger community benefits all of us, and we are pleased we have the opportunity to be involved in meaningful ways. Hope to see you soon!
